[Review] Sparkling Wine Jaillance (:

Posted on 11:04 by Unknown
I'M SO HAPPY TODAY because i finally had the chance to open up my Sparkling Wine Jalliance to drink! *POOOOOP*

Wine Jaillance is produced in France and what interest me even more was some of the requirements they adhered to in the process of producing it.

--> the grapes used have to be harvest by hand
--> they follow the traditional methods of winemaking

--------------------------------------------------------♥------------------------------------------------------

I would say that both bottle of wine brings about very unique taste. but personally, i would prefer Muscat, Clairette (alcohol level:7%) more because it tasted fruity and sweet while Semillon (alcohol level:12.5%) tasted bitter (to me). Sweet > bitter, always work better for me (: But i'm sure Semillon would be able to satisfy the taste bud of people who preferred wine with a stronger flavour.

You can easily find them (Semillon and Muscat, Clairette) in places like Cold Storage, Giant, Jasons and Marketplace, at $29.90 and $26.90 respectively. It's pretty affordable and value for money given the fact that you're getting yourself an award winning wine which could have cost even more.

if you're interested, feel free to find out more on Wine Jaillance here (:

Till then,
xoxo

Hazy Hazy Singapore

Posted on 11:03 by Unknown

PSI have been rising and dropping #likearollercoaster so even though it has dropped under 100 tonight, it does not necessary means the same tmr (don't be too happy yet) HAHA.

but... i just thought this can be a great time to think through of the things you may have taken granted for all this while.

Well.. for example like the CLEAN AIR in sg.

Humans tend to take things for granted especially when we grew up 'naturally' with. Since young, we didn't have to worry about the air we breathe in and i dare to say, MOST OF US MAY EVEN FORGET THAT WE HAVE AIR. yes, you may go LOL at this statement but it's true. Sometimes we just forget how lucky we are to be able to walk, jump, hold a glass of cup on our hands, being able to talk, blink our eyes. We just....forget how lucky we actually are simply because we didn't have to work hard for it, most of us just grew up with it.

So anw, where was i.. ohyes, clean air. i get how everyone is blaming the indo govt over it etc and sometimes.. i do find myself 'nagging' about it as well but... on a second thought; if we can't change the fact that they are burning trees and all, we can try to do something on our own, something within our own ability to make things better.

I understand that the surgical mask is not really helpful and useful in times like this but if N95 happen to be out of stock, then all we can is to make do of what we have.. if you guys do have extra mask(s) at home, do pass it around. All you have to do is to bring extra masks out around and if you happen to see some elderlies or workers out there without a mask, or even an aunty or a kid, just passed it to them. It's just so simple (: Some may reject you upfront but it's alright because there will definitely be many other out there who will greatly accept it and i'm sure they appreciate you for it (:

Anw, just some basic info i've found while doing some research on haze so just thought i could share it with you guys! ^^

Meaning of PSI readings;

0-50 ---> GOOD
51-100 ---> MODERATE
101-200 ---> UNHEALTHY
201-300 ---> VERY UNHEALTHY
Above 300 --> HAZARDOUS
You can also check the updated PSI here (:

Tips

You guys may have heard this for a million times within this few days but yes..

1. Drink more water!!

By doing so, it helps your kidney to flush out any toxin that has been absorb through your skin and lungs.

2. Close your windows and doors at home

3. Roll up your car windows
(this is pretty common sense i guess)

4. Cut down on coffee and alcohol

Sometime interesting i found; cutting down on coffee and tea prevents loss of fluid as well as to prevent leach of nutrients from your body.

5. Eat more food/fruits that are high in Vitamin C, E

(Some examples would be: Guavas, Strawberries, Oranges, Kiwi, Broccoli, Cauliflower, sunflower seeds, peanuts, cooked spinach etc) To build up your immune system, you wouldn't want to fall ill during this period of time because it's gonna be tough to recover in such a hazy environment.

6. Try not to wear contact lenses

This applies especially when your eyes feel so dry and irritated to begin off with. You wouldn't want to irritate it any further!!

7. Wear a mask

& yes.. wear a mask, ESPECIALLY when you're going to be out the entire day. You wouldn't to imagine the amt of dirty particles you've breathed in at the end of the day:x OHHH& side track alil, pls remember to cleanse your face if you're too lazy to bathe at the end of the day. TROLOLOL

8. BE KIND (:

Always rmb that everyone here in sg is going through the same thing and some even worst so when you find yourself complaining, learn to tone down and start appreciating the things u have! When we can't change the situation, we change the way we look at things as well as the actions we take. so lets, put our hands together, to help when we can and make this not-so-good moment a better one for all (;

So yupp, that's about it for now i guess (:

Meanwhile, take good care alrighty!
& thankyou for reading till the end^^

XOXO

KAPLAN (:

Posted on 09:29 by Unknown
Just a few days after graduation and i'm back to Ngee Ann Poly again. hehehe & was greeted by Nicholas & Cordelia's hyper-ness. LOL haha. totally brightens up my day^^

So..i was handed a Kaplan brochure& instantly school of social science and humanities caught my eyes. HAHAHA. For people who know me, other than music, i'm also interested in social work and also a dream of being a counsellor, infact i have so many dreams. #teenagewoes# HAHA.

So here we go (: Just some background info for the start..

About KAPLAN

Kaplan Higher Education Academy (KHEA) offers a diverse range of part time as well as full time programmes for students who wish to pursue a variety of diplomas and degrees;
Accounting & Finance
Business & Management
Communication & Media
Hospitality & Tourism Management
Humanities & Social Sciences
Information Technology

& because they recognises the need to condense course syllabus based on the acquired abilities and prior learnings of students therefore for a Poly diploma student, a degree can be earned within a span of 12months-18months, depending on the approvals from the respective universities.

Can you imagine that?!?!
12-18months is like not even 2 years!& it's a degree that you're graduating with!!

On top of that, KHEA partners with 6 top universities worldwide to ensure quality education and students at Kaplan receive the same degree parchment as students who study in the overseas university. KHEA, through Kaplan Singapore has also won consecutive public voted awards such as JobsCentral Learnings and Rankings Survey and AsiaOne People’s Choice Awards.

&yes.. this may be one of the things you're looking out for! There are direct entry for poly diploma holders into the 2nd year of most Bachelor's degree Programmes which means 1 year lesser of lesson! HAHAHA. ok that's not my point, it basically just means that u get to start from the 2nd year due to reasons like the relevant field you've been studying previously etc and so you get to graduate faster and enter the working society ASAP (: So do check out their webpage to learn more about the courses that qualify for the direct entry^^

& feel free to drop any of your enquiries HERE (:

Since my gpa can't get me into any of the govt uni.. *post-graduation regrets*, i will definitely take Kaplan into consideration even though I'm currently taking a gap year. I mean they have really affordable school fees, direct entry for poly graduates and is also recognised given their public voted awards (:

                                                                                          ----------------------❤❤ ----------------------

Though it may be their last day in Ngee Ann Poly, but Nic & Cordelia will still be going round the remaining polytechnics left, so do lookout for them!;
