HAPPY CNY^^

HAPPY CNY TO ALL READERS IF THERE IS ANY ^^

This year have been a v different CNY for me perhaps cus I am starting to see things differently as i grow. In the past, CNY is just a day for me to collect angbaos but this year, i see CNY as a time where everyone gather, catch up and build stronger bonds as a family. Though i'm still not v close to my cousins at my momsie side but i will try to open up, slowly.

Sooo anw.. CNY this year has been really awesome for me (: Not only do i get to visit my own aunts and uncles whom i miss sooooo much, i managed to hang around with Dd's extended family, just like last year and i swear they are really fun to be with!! *shall talk more about it in the later part of my post*

CNY Day 1

Went vising at grammie's place; both daddy& momsie side. Managed to talked to my aunt and mustered all courage to tell her what i actually wish to do after i graduate and i was taken aback when she started throwing me with words of encouragement and even initiate to support me mentally and financially, if i ever need. Can you imagine how touched i was?? (': Later that night, we went over to one of my fav aunt house for visiting& dinner:D They live in a condo, a really nice ambience in their house, mayb cus they kinda renovated again which makes the house looks cosy and classy at the same time! So my really nice cousin taught me a part of the piano piece; ballad for adeline. I was super happy because this is a piano piece i used to hear every morning when i wake up, it was by my neighbour i guess and now i'm able to play it^^ hehe. not the entire full song but at least, the gist of it.


CNY Day 2

So i met Dd's aunts this year again and they had KTVs sessions etc. Afterwhich they decided to play a angbao game in which 20 over angbaos will be pasted on the wall and out of all, one of which will b filled with a top price of 1000$!! HAHA. how cool is that?? (:

Unfortunately, we had to leave earlier so we were given a chance to pick our angbaos first but before that we have to speak through their mic introducing who we are and also some of new year's wishing before selecting our angbao. hehh. i took one with 8$ inside and dd took one with only 2$ inside. hehehe.

Left to meet momsie and korkor for Ah boys to men part 2! (: Though it's really late by then but the movie just woke everyone up and filled the cinema with laughters so i would say this movie is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED (: MUAHAHAHA.

 

Went home and i texted dd's counsin the next day only to know that......... the largest price is actually only 100$. HAHAHA. reason why they said there was 1000$ inside was to hype up everyone. hahahaha. Dd have really cool aunts yoo. haha.

CNY Day 3

On the third day of CNY, we went to connie's ahyi house as the first stop and had yummy steambooat (: Everyone was asking about dd when i was there, some of my aunts even prepared angbao for him too. hehh. so touched from this lil gestures (': After that, i went over to join dd in his visiting ^^

Managed to talk to his distanced relative and i felt really comfortable talking to them ^^ hehe. Later that night, we went over to a temple in tamp whr dd and his family goes to frequently. Prayed and all ^^ Feels great spending such time w dd and his family. haha. What's heart-warming was that dd told me that they are waiting for me to lao yu shen together(': why are they all so sweet. *melts*

So anww, that pretty much of my CNY (: ohh so happy. Hope YOU have a great CNY too (:
