Random doodle during AH retreat

'cus my day started off with meeting the lovely AH peeps for AH retreat (: We were given the opportunity t recall all the things we have been thru as a volunteer thus far and given the chance to speak up and suggest on what could be improved. Don't you think this is awesome? They gave us, volunteers, a voice to speak (': Reason why i felt so touched about this is because most organization don't do this and even if they do, they will just take in suggestions among people who they are closer with but AH is totally different. They made me felt accepted and that i found myself a new family with the loveliest ppl ♥ 

So anw, rushed down to ntu with dd for their open house and in the end, we made a fool out of ourselves. HAHA. turns out the open house was just for a specific course and we weren't really interested in it as well. &&& i swear... ntu is so dam big, to the extent that going to uni kinda scare me:/ i'm afraid of getting lost, like seriously. haha. Decided to have our lunch there before heading homee.

Rested for the noon and headed to IKEA to complete dd's craving ^^ &i can't believe it but we end up feasting in IKEA. HAHA. Fried chicken..hotdog bun..ice cream..potato wedges.. soft drink. omo. sinful dinner bt we really really enjoyed it :D hehe.

Bringing smiles to the face of others (:

Yup so it was another day of work today ^^ smth new and interesting. hehe. Dd was the mascot and i was the EVM :D hehe.

So basically this event is known as Max Parade where the mascot is named Max. We parade around the airport to show appreciation to the employees of Changi Airport and to also promote a stress-free environment for them ^^ interesting isn't it!

Belated birthday celebration w dajie (:

Say hi to my beloved dajie ^^ hee. So after so long, we manage to have our proper dayout (: Met dajie after my school for kbooxx (: hee. had so much fun! Miss singing with her:x & other than singing, dajie ordered a couple of sides for us to munch on^^ hehe.

Though this is not a perfect-kind-of celebration, i still hope dajie enjoyed herself (: i may not be able to offer any big grand celebration, but i always stand firm to the fact that nothing beats more than sincerity, time and effort. i hope she felt it^^

 So after meeting dajie, i head off to look for dd who was busy working in changi. haha. Was dead tired by then but supper was still great nonethless^^

Accompanied dd to ICA early in the morning to settle some of his army stuff. Afterwhich we travelled down to bugis to meet my momsie and to pray in the temple ^^ hee. Kinda like this feeling where we pray for everyone to be happy, to prosper and to be successful all at the same time together ^^ lala:D But it's a pity that Dd have to leave early:/ Accompanied momsie for the entire day afterwards where we went to shop in bugis & also went for eyebrow threading :D Treated momsie to dinner too(: hehe. happy us!

Simplicity.

A day at home (:

Since i'm home the entire day, i've decided to try to cook my very first dish: Sichuan veg soup w pork rib:D weee:D Went grocery shopping with momsie before heading home to cook, and i will say i succeeded for a first timer (: HAPPYGIRL IS ME:D i'm determined to learn more so that in future i can feed dd with lots of yummy food:D hehehe. turn him into a pig. OINK. keke.

Other than that, nicholas insisted on staying over when he heard that i was going to help hammie and leqiu wash their cages. HAHA. He started chasing them ard the house, talking to them like they understoof human language. Well, thats what i love about kids(: NAIVE. hee.

Later that night, i decided to keep him accompanied alil while before i sleep and turns out, we had our camwhoring session. HAHA. Can't believe i was going crazy with him. HAHAHA. Nonethless, it was a really lovely and a day well spent ^^

NP OPEN HOUSE! (:

Open house day #1 was great!(: Though we're all tired but you'll still see us smiling widely:D teehee. It was really great meeting different students and hearing what they are interested in. Somehow it's good to know that SOCIAL ENTERPRISE as a term is receiving a greater awareness among the students *jumps around*

Here are just some pictures to sum up my day 1 of NP Open House (:

Afterwhich they will stand infront of the camera for a shot as a form of pledging for the social cause!

When the crowd subsided, we went to the different booths to try out their activities. Hehe. below is the readings done by student from Chinese Studies. all we did was to write out our chinese name to them and they will do the rest of the job ^^ I must say, the readings are rather true to quite a big percentage. 

Next up, we went to the Chinese Media & Communication Booth and we got to experience the feeling of photoshoot in magazines or posters where the blue backdrop reflects to be something else (like a jungle backdrop) in the computer after shoot. SO COOL. HEHE.

Played some games at the Psychology booth and won myself 3 wang wang. HAHA. HAPPY LIKE MAD:S HEHEHE.(: that's pretty much about NP Open House Day #1 (:

HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYBODEHH!

Countdown at brinal's place last night& guess what, i learnt how to play majong! (: HEHE. can't believe we played all the way till 5am. HEHE. took the first bus and went back to dd's house to sleep:D *yawns* 

Had lunch tgther w dd momsie and we went to shopped in Japan home. hehe. When we're back home, MAJONG again:D hahahahha! had lots of fun(: Learnt many new things in majong under the guidance of dd's momsie. fun fun fun :D
