Yes& that's how powerful words can be. Whether is it during conversation, heart-to-heart talks or even jokes, it is really important to be sensitive to feeling of whoever u're talking to. Just because one seem unaffected, doesn't mean they don't mind. it prolly just meant that they are trying to swallow the pain in silence, thinking of ways to stop those tears from falling. i believe everyone have been through times when they receive nasty comments. well, think about it. how does it feels like? awful isn't it. especially when its words that brings you, your self-esteem& confidence down.

i always tell myself this; its that feeling i cant get rid off& i wouldn't wish for others to experienced it too.

Because if you were to understand how it feels like, to be so crashed inside when all the while you have been trying to build up your self-esteem& confidence then you would definitely be sensitive with the things you are going to say.

Changed perspective

Hi all:D i'm back to post! So today is definitely one of the most interesting lesson we had in this semester(: We went to visit the foreign worker's dormitory& we even got to interact with them. i swear, my perspective towards this group of FWs definitely changed 180degrees. They are so different from what i expected them to be. &&i must really admit that, all this while i have been seeing them in a different light, stereotyping them just because of what a few people from their group have done. In actual fact, they are really friendly. really really friendly! Despite the low pay and hard work they have to go through everyday, they are still very happy with their work. Coming from a country without any proper education, they strive hard and are more determine to learn new things and improve themselves, compared to most of us. Their willingness to learn really touched me. They really deserve to be treated equally. they are just like all of us. They have emotions too, everyday they miss their love ones, wanting to earn more money, so better life can be forged, not for themselves but also for their own family, their children, their wife.

"Surrender is giving up control not losing power."

frankly speaking, i'm really lucky. i have a life which is near perfect, which gives me even more reason to be contented about. i face problems, but they were never big to the extent that can take my breath away. However, there are some people who are left with no choice but to stay strong, no matter what happen. i've learnt that accepting the truth, the harsh reality is the least one should do. Because if we choose to turn away from the truth all the time, then we would be living in self-denial. isn't it? Also by accepting the truth also meant a step in moving forward. Maybe one may feel helpless and lost, but never forget as long as one is still alive, until the very last breath, hope still exist.

Just to add on, recently i've read a book;life lesson for loving the way you live&& in one of the chp, it talks about a girl who was born with a musical background; with her parents being singers and musicians. At the age of 4, she was already learning different type of instruments, singing and dancing. Music was simply her life. One day(already an adult), she got into a car accident, her injuries was devastating. What mattered most was that her vocal cords, trachea and esophagus had been destroyed. She could hardly talk, let alone sing. Her life is gone, literally. All the best thing that ever happen in her life just disappeared in a blink of an eye. But she knew she had to surrender to the moment, the reality. Given her condition, the docs told her that she would nt be able to talk again. Instead of being sad and depressed, she was in the state of awe and gratitude& never thought of giving up. She mediated everyday and was very patient, tho now, she is still on her route of recovery but at least she has successfully got back into the music industry,being able to record songs etc!(:

The reason why i shared this is because i wanted to tell everyone out there that no matter how bad the situation is, theres always light. i know action speaks louder than words.& i always wonder if i'm able to do it if i happen to be the person. well, my ans would be no. But it is important that we change our mindset now. who knows, one day we may turn out to be stronger and more positive than we expect ourselves to.
